Class size is limited to allow time for individual attention for each student. Each session includes classroom instruction as well as time to practice the techniques and receive immediate feedback.
Digital SLR Camera
Classroom instruction will be minimized, with emphasis onl taking students to various locations to shoot pictures, giving immediate feedback and individual instruction on depth of field, shutter speed, exposure control and much more. A tripod is required.

Introduction to Digital Point & Shoot Camera
This workshop is designed for cameras with aperture and shutter modes as well as program mode. Field practice will be in suitable mountain locations, and will be followed by review of each student's work.

Capturing Mountain Water in Digital Photographs
Experiment with photographing mountain lakes, creeks, and falls using a variety of techniques including time exposures, close-ups, reflections, sun sparkle, and others. Expect at least three days of field trips with some long rides to reach shooting sites chosen for their beauty and variety. This intermediate class is designed for students with a complete familiarity of their digital SLR camera and lenses (equivalent to Nikon D40, Canon 30D, or better).
